Master of Science in Occupational Therapy
If you have a heart for helping others relearn the skills they need for day-to-day life, pursue an education in occupational therapy. Whether you are starting out with your passion for rehabilitative healthcare, or advancing your expertise and practice, Baker College offers an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant, as well as our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Understand what it takes to help clients overcome cognitive, physical, and mental challenges and live life with more independence.
Fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination for the Occupational Therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®)
Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant
Learn to support those who support rehabilitative care for a number of injuries and conditions in this AAS in Occupational Therapy program. Prepare to assist physical therapists with procedures and rehabilitation programs in concept and practice through a blend of classwork, active lab participation, and clinical experience working with real physical therapy patients. Benefit from curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Available at: Muskegon and Owosso. Choose from three convenient locations where our Physical Therapist Assistant classes are taught, including Muskegon, Owosso, and Royal Oak campuses. Plus, general education and prerequisite courses are typically available through Baker Online, Online Live, and on all campuses throughout Michigan.
Master of Science in Occupational Therapy
Take your OT approach further through this master’s program led by industry-proven OTs, who guide you to the next level of your practice through hands-on experiences and clinicals. Explore upper-level OT concepts in functional neuroanatomy, mental health, kinesiology, upper extremity rehab, and more. Prepare to sit for your National Certification Examination for the Occupational Therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) through curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). Available at: Royal Oak. Master’s-level Occupational Therapy courses are taught exclusively at Royal Oak. Certain classes are offered online for more flexible learning.
