Whether you are just starting out or you’re a seasoned human resource pro, Baker College offers three degree programs to help explore a future in HR management. Each program offers a blend of HR focused insights and studies with an in-depth look at general business fundamentals to help you sustain career success at any HR leadership level. You’ll explore accounting, analytics, management, marketing, and finance as well as training and development, compensation, staffing, and labor relations.
You will also work on developing and refining your abilities and skills in critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and more. The kind of professional skills that will serve you well in leadership roles for any organization in every industry.
All three programs have been acknowledged by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) to align with SHRMS HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. And all three are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
Take the first step toward an HR leadership role with a bachelor’s degree that covers human resources essentials for employment law, workforce training, recruitment and retention, compensation, and labor relations. Your 120-credit-hour program also features a strong business curriculum to help you prepare for in wide range of HR positions and opportunities.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
From a core understanding of business management fundamentals, this 36-credit-hour MBA blends in HR management essentials to help prepare you for a host of human resource leadership career opportunities, from department manager to CHRO. Coursework covers employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, and employee staffing and development.
4 + 1 (BBA + MBA) in Human Resource Management
Take your HR management career to a whole other level with a program that offers two distinct (bachelor’s and master’s) degrees upon completion. Coursework for your 144-credit-hour program covers every concept, practice, and theory in HR management as well as business administration essentials to help you prepare for leadership positions in the field.
