The AAS in Cardiac Sonography offers the right blend of clinical applications in cutting-edge sonography and the latest theory and approach to cardiac diagnostics.
Associate of Applied Science in Cardiac Sonography
The AAS in Cardiac Sonography brings together class concepts and lab experiences in cardiac sonography using the most advanced equipment to help students effectively capture cardiac health status through imaging. Accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS), students can gain preparation for entry to a career in sonography in a number of medical settings. Available at: Owosso. Taught exclusively at the Owosso campus, the AAS in Cardiac Sonography offers some program courses online for greater flexibility. Additionally, general education and prerequisite courses are typically available online and at all campuses throughout Michigan.
